Botox for jaw really helps?

Before I post about my Top 5 deal breaker of a woman, I wanna talk about botox for jaw! If you haven't, you can read up on my Top 5 deal break of a man here.

Disclaimer: This is NOT an advertorial or anything. I DO NOT get paid to do this neither do I encourage you people to get botox or any other aesthetic procedures. If you like how you look, good for you. Whether you wanna do or already did something, it has got nothing to do with me. I am indifferent towards this since it doesn't affect me. And please do not come trashing at me for being fake or whatever because it is not gonna change anything. And I'm not gonna compare plastic surgeries with putting on make-up/braces/whatsoever because at the end of the day, you are still gonna make your stand and so do I. So if you're a hater towards aesthetic procedures, you prolly should stop reading this. If not, please do continue! ;)

So I had botox twice on my jaw at this clinic in Korea called ITEM Plastic Surgery Clinic. The link to this clinic is here. My first botox was last March and the second was on June. I never had botox done in Singapore but from what I've heard, it does cost a bomb in Singapore.

People, if you really wanna get botox/fillers done, please please please go to a reputable clinic. Don't do it because some places offering you dirt cheap and you think "why not?". It's your face and if the wrong fillers are injected, it can cause infections. Even with the wrong amount of botox injected, everything can go wrong. So please becareful!

So does it really reduces the face shape? For me, only a very slight change. However, if you do have jaws with strong muscles, it might help. How to know if you have jaws with strong muscles? Clench your teeth, feel the muscles on your jaws with your hands. Alternatively, look into the mirror, and then clench your teeth, you can see the significant changes of your face shape when you clench your teeth.

There are people who went through mandible reduction (bone shaving for jaws) if botox isn't a way out.

Anyway my face wasn't round to begin with. I guess because of my huge forehead it kinda helps with the proportion haha. But anyway, I'm not a fan of super V shape kinda face. I like the smooth oval egg shaped face.

Shall share some pictures with you guys! Unphotoshopped. In fact, ever since I had things done on my face, I don't photoshop my pictures anymore. And also, my face actually looked even slimmer after I had things done on my face!

This is me, before i had anyyyyyyy surgeries done.

And this is me without any botox on my jaw.

Without.

And on the day I had my botox done in March.
The reason why my face was so red because I had this procedure called PRP+MTS done for my skin.

Prolly a month after my second botox in June.

July 2012.

January 2013.

January 2013.

I actually came to realize that the bone structure of my face isn't that big at all BUT IT'S ALL THE FATS ON MY FACE. Ever since I lost a total of 8kg in 2 months, my face did slim down a little. This is why I always have my hair down to create an illusion of a slimmer face haha oh yes, hair plays a huge role in giving you a good face shape!

Some information on botox:

Botox can last you 3 ~ 6 months. But I believe mine might had long worn off already. You can inject botox every 3~4 months and the more frequent you get it done, the longer it last.
For example, you injected your first botox on January and the second on March, your third session can be done after 6 months for maintenance.

FYI, when you had botox done, you need to try to avoid chewing on hard food like, nuts, crackers etc. And for the botox to fully take effect, it takes about 3~7 days (depending on individual).

Will I have botox again? Maybe yes, maybe no since it doesn't really have any significant results on me. But I will never ever do botox on my forehead or crowfeet because I pretty much use them to express myself. Unless one day I decided not to look unapproachable or expressive, maybe I will get botox injected on my forehead haha which will never happen. Right, I did say "unapproachable" because many people say I look unfriendly and intimidating hahaha

And I think if you really wanna do something to your face, it is really important to follow your desire look and not follow what is the "trend" now. You know how most of the girls are trying to achieve that V shape face these days, but imagine 10 years down the road, maybe having a round face is pretty (not that I think round face now is ugly. I do have friends with really defined jaw and I think they look sexy with it!) and are you gonna start injecting fats into your face to keep up with the "trend"? hahaha

Anyways, feel free to ask me anything and I'll try my best to answer them. But I'll definitely not entertain any rude/silly comments. If you are not comfortable with leaving comments, you can email me at glitteronica@gmail.com ;)

Oh, and just nice as I was looking through ITEM's website, I realised the doctors will be visiting Malaysia for a free consultation. So if you are keen, you can prolly make a trip down and have a consultation! ^^

    1. Come clean? What are you talking? Do you understand english because if you read them carefully, you should be able to understand I did not deny the fact that I had any surgeries. Only one of the pictures is before I had any surgeries. And for goodness sake, don't assume because it just makes you look stupid. For so many trips I've been to Korea, I have never stepped foot into BK clinic except for the pharmacy. So it means no procedures done in BK. Case close. Yes, Singapore indeed is a small country, so whoever you are, you might wanna just come clean who you are instead ;)

Oh, by the way, if you really know me, I don't hide the fact that I have had surgeries. You can ask any of my friends ;)

    2. If I were stupid, you probably fare worse than stupidity LOL!

Came across ITEM website? More like you working as a coordinator and sidekick to EJ. It is people like you who impersonate as a patient and secretly marketing the clinic you are working for. Sg people don't like to go ITEM after reading your posts in many website. HAHAHA. You give ITEM a bad name. LOL

    3. Erm, and your point of saying all this is?

Sigh I feel really sad for you because I've to keep correcting you. I didn't mention I came across ITEM website. Why do you keep assuming? LOL

Fact is I did work for ITEM BUT I wasn't a coordinator. Just an admin. And singaporeans don't like to go there it's their problem.

I wonder why my actions are affecting you, I feel so sorry for you. Cheer up and be a happy person.

Oh, btw, I am still receiving emails people asking me about ITEM and my friends who got things done there are happy.

And this whole thing is so last summer. Time to talk shit about something else. PS: if you wanna talk more shit, do your homework at least! Jeez!

Dun kena stinking eggs on the streets. Also u lie so much that yr eyes are drooping already. Serve u rite for being a liar. Time to go back BK or ITEM for revision LOL

Then I hope you prepare some stinking eggs in your bag. Just dont make yourself stinker than you already are ^^ Dont get too personal girl, just chill. Don't come barking at my blog, go back to your owner. You wanna bring me down, go ahead. Sorry if you mistaken me as someone who gives a damn. ;)
